Block Riot Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Block Riot is owned and operated by Article X-29 Inc., a Florida corporation.
Block Riot is a free block puzzle paid for by ads, with a one-time purchase that removes them. The game itself keeps everything on your phone: there is no account, no sign-in and no analytics service. The one thing that does leave your phone is an ad request, and this page explains exactly what that involves.
1. What the App Stores on Your Phone
Your current game, your scores and statistics, your settings, and a small record of how many games you have finished and when an ad was last shown (so the app can keep its promise of at most one ad per two games). None of this is sent to us. If you make a backup, the app writes one file and you choose where it goes; we never receive it.
2. Ads (Google AdMob)
Ads are served by Google AdMob and its partner networks. When the app requests an ad, Google receives your device's advertising identifier (if your phone's settings allow it), your IP address and approximate location derived from it, basic device information (model, operating system, language), the app's name, and interaction data about the ad (whether it was shown, clicked or closed). Google uses this to choose and measure ads; its own policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested, using Google's consent form, and you can change your choices any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iPhone, the app asks for tracking permission; if you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your phone's settings.
Our published rules: no ads during play; at most one ad per two finished games, with at least three minutes between them; no ads in your first games; optional videos only when you choose them; gambling, dating, political and religious ads are blocked; and every ad can be reported from Settings → Report an ad, which is how misleading ads (such as fake "phone cleaner" warnings) get blocked. Offline play has no ads.
3. Remove Ads Forever and Payments
Google Play (on Android) or Apple (on iPhone) handles all billing. We never see your card number or billing address. We use RevenueCat to check whether you own the Remove-Ads purchase. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID that is not linked to your name or email, your store purchase record, and basic device information. Once you own the purchase, the app stops requesting ads entirely, so nothing in section 2 applies any more.
4. What We Don't Collect
We don't require an account, email address or password. We don't collect your contacts, photos, precise location or files. The app has no analytics or crash-reporting service of ours, and we don't sell data. Ratings prompts are handled by Google Play or the App Store.
5. Children
Block Riot is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. It is not part of Google Play's Designed for Families programme. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Deleting Your Data
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that phone. Because we hold no account or copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To delete the data Google holds about ads shown to you, use the controls in your Google account and your phone's advertising settings.
7. Changes to This Policy
If what the app collects or shares changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change ships. The app's ad rules can only become stricter in your favour without notice; any loosening will be announced in the app's changelog first.
