Road Dog Social Club Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Account: your email address, used only to sign you in (a one-time code, no password).

Profile: display name, city, drinking preference, venue preferences, bio, profession, age range, hobbies, and the vibes you say you're up for.

Plans: any plan you host or join, its time/venue/city, who's attending, and board messages you post. These are visible to other members by design, the same as they would be in person.

Safety actions: anyone you block or report, and the reason you give. Blocks are visible only to you. Reports are visible to you and to us.

Usage: which core actions you take (signing in, hosting or joining a plan, posting a message, searching Browse) and when. We never collect the content of your searches beyond what's needed to measure that a search happened.

2. What We Don't Collect

We don't run background checks or identity verification. We don't collect payment card details. Apple handles all subscription billing, and we only know whether your membership is active, never your card number or billing address. We don't access your device's precise location. Venue search uses Apple Maps' place autocomplete, limited to what you type and the city you're in, not your GPS position, and the app never requests location permission. We don't use advertising identifiers or any cross-app tracking.

3. Who We Share It With

Supabase, our database and authentication provider, hosts everything described above. Apple processes membership payments and shares only entitlement status (active or not) back to us. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. What Other Members Can See

Your display name, city, profile details, hobbies, and any plan you host, join, or post to. It's the same information you'd naturally share by showing up. Your email is never shown to other members.

5. Your Rights

You can edit most of your profile directly in the app. You can delete your account at any time from Profile. This permanently removes your profile, your plans, your messages, and everything else tied to your account, immediately and without needing to contact us first.

If you're a California resident, you have the same rights under state law (know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale). We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of. You can delete your data directly in the app instead of having to send a request.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes it. We don't keep backups of our own. Supabase's infrastructure keeps disaster-recovery backups, and those expire on its standard schedule.

7. Children

The app is restricted to users 21 and older and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

If what we collect changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
