Child Safety Standards

Zero tolerance

Road Dog has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This applies to plans, board messages, profiles and anything else shared through the app, and to any meetup arranged through it.

You may not use Road Dog to:

• Share, request or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including drawn, AI-generated or altered images
• Groom, sexualize or solicit a minor, or arrange to meet a minor
• Sextort, traffic or otherwise exploit a minor
• Encourage, promote or normalize any of the above

Road Dog is for adults only

Road Dog is only for people 21 or older, because its plans take place at venues that serve alcohol. Everyone agrees to this before using the app. We remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 21.

How to report a concern

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first.

In the app:

• A plan: open the plan, tap the ⋯ menu at the top and choose Report plan.
• A board message: tap the ⋯ next to the message and choose Report message.
• A member: open a plan they're in, tap the ⋯ menu at the top and choose their name. On Android you can also tap the flag on their profile.

Pick "A minor is involved or at risk" as the reason. Reports are private: the person you report isn't told who reported them.

By email: write to support@roaddogsocialclub.com with the subject "Child safety report". Say what you saw, and include the plan, the member's name and when it happened, if you can. Don't attach or forward images of a child. Describe them instead.

Directly to NCMEC: in the U.S. you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

What we do when we get a report

• We review child safety reports before any other report.
• We remove content that breaks these standards and permanently ban the accounts involved.
• We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC's CyberTipline, as U.S. law requires (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and keep the records the law requires us to keep.
• We cooperate with law enforcement investigating the exploitation of children.
